Alemanys 5 is a 16th-century house that has been beautifully re-designed into two separate apartments. Respecting the original features of the home, the architect created a modern and minimal space amongst beautiful brickwork walls, ancient features and pale stone. NOTEWORTHY

The bottom suite (El Jardi) sleeps 2-4 and has access to the beautiful rainwater-fed pool and garden, while the upper suite (El Badiu) sleeps 2-6 and has a beautiful roof terrace with views over the Jewish Quarter.

Alemanys 5 is in the centre of Girona, close to the cathedral and the Jewish Quarter. Girona is an hour north of Barcelona in Catalonia. northeast Spain.

El Jardi starts at $300/night, El Badiu starts at $350, the entire house at $650.
